TankPitstop, a world first in Emmeloord!
On Monday 4 February, N. van Staveren B.V. and Rotec Engineering B.V. officially launched the TankPitstop.
Motorists will soon be able to use this automated fuel robot to refuel and pay, without needing to step outside their vehicles.
The TankPitstop is the first automated fuel robot in the world to actually work in practice.
Minister of Economic Affairs Maria van der Hoeven was first to use the TankPitstop.
"It's a spectacular new innovation," she said. "We can be proud that this world first has been achieved in the Netherlands".

The TankPitstop is an automated fuel robot which allows motorists to refuel and pay without actually doing anything themselves.
The innovative robotic technology will make refuelling much easier.
